Lawrence Kocen, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois under physician supervision. During a 9-month advanced clinical rotation, his passion for orthopedics developed as he worked alongside a sports medicine physician. Following these rotations, Larry received his masters in physician assistant studies at Rush University Medical Center, an NCCPA accredited program in Chicago, IL.

Larry joined Hinsdale Orthopaedics in 2017 and works alongside Dr. Kris Alden who specializes in knee and hip reconstruction. He provides direct patient care at several clinic locations. His scope of practice includes performing joint injections and other minor procedures, providing pre- and post-operative care, as well as diagnosing and treating several orthopaedic conditions. His clinical interests include knee, hip and shoulder injuries.
